The Venezuelan A's get going in the postseason

Alberto Callaspo, Fernando Abad, and recently reinstated Darwin Perez have assisted the Magallanes to a 11-5 record in the round robin portion of the VWL postseason, as the A's presence upon the Navegantes is quite pronounced. With the only Caribbean leaguers still participating that are affiliated with the Oakland organization aside from Andres Avila with the Caneros De Los Mochis (Mexico), these three serve as the last means of competitive baseball for A's fans to monitor prior to March:

UPDATE: The Navegantes De Magallanes have been crowned the LVBP champions and shall represent Venezuela in the Serie De Caribe commencing on February 1st.

With the signing of Manaurys Correa, the A's have a 4th representative within the Venezuelan postseason. The righty has taken refuge with the Caribes De Antoázegui, a ballclub attempting to scratch for the finale berth against the Magallanes. The Navegantes are currently 7-2, while the Caribes are 4-4 (One game back of second place).
